ABOUT
J Marie’s is a young independent artist named Josie who is local to the Lake District. She was brought up in a little village called Flookburgh. But has recently moved out into her own home which contains her studio. This has allowed her to push forward J Marie’s which until now has has just been seen as a hobby.
Josie is a Highly passionate realism artist and loves creating photo like paintings using the finest brush strokes.
However, given Josie also spent 4 years gaining a 1st class Costume with Textiles BA(Hons) degree in Huddersfield she did not just want to paint. Josie loved making things and her degree only drew this out of her more. She wanted to add all the additional, homeware and decor pieces to her brand as this was something she always wished that she would have had the time to sit and make for herself when she was no longer in education. She now just feels privileged that she gets to share what she makes, with others as well.
