Commission Painting Process

Stage 1 Commission Contact & Prices

For commission prices, please contact me with your thoughts on your specific design. We can discuss the size of the painting, my two standard sizes are A4 and A3, I will then require a photo of the picture you would like painting. From this I will give you a quote, my pricing is based on an hourly rate this will be calculated on the size of the painting and the detail within the image.

Stage 2 Deposit Payment

Before I begin painting your commission, I require a 40% payment of the overall fee. Once this payment has been received I will add you into my calendar, so you will have booked your space for your commission. I work on a first come, first served basis. I will let you know an estimated finish date. However, I aim to work on a maximum 2 week turnover during none busy periods.

Stage 3 Completed Commission

Firstly, I will create your commission mainly from the one photograph, but others maybe helpful of the subject(s) to gather more information and detail. Once I have finished painting your commission I will send you a photograph of the piece to see if you are happy with it.

Stage 4 Final Payment

I will issue an invoice for the final payment.

Stage 5 Packing and Shipping

You can organize collection with me for your painting if you prefer, otherwise all painting commissions are sent wrapped and packaged with Royal Mail.
